Sentinels of Liberty

Mission: The Sentinels of Liberty is a state network of like-minded Patriots of varied backgrounds and skill sets who collectively work together to prepare for events (either of a temporary or long-term nature) that threaten the stability and security of the United States of America or the integrity of the State of Texas.

As an independent organization, we will strive to work with other states who wish to adopt our approach as independent but affiliated organizations.

We will prepare ourselves by practicing the skills we have learned and by training to learn new skills.

Our preparedness training will be conducted both in the classroom and in the field and will include any topic that would improve our capabilities to perform in a state of emergency.

We will have the capability in the event of a state of emergency to provide safety and security first to our families, secondly to our local teams, third to our communities, and to other Sentinels.

Vision: To become a state network of trained, dedicated, and highly skilled American Patriots who are willing to uphold the principles of Liberty that the United States of America was founded upon.

Who We Are

The Sentinels of Liberty is an organization of American patriots, chartered on the 16th of July 2016, in Waco, Texas; and incorporated in the State of Texas on the 20th of July 2016. The founders formed the Sentinels of Liberty under the same principles that our Founding Fathers followed when forming the United States of America. We believe that the Constitution of the United States (as it was intended to be interpreted by the Founding Fathers) is the indisputable law of our country and where America draws its strength.

As American Patriots, we each take an Oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic..." Many of us took this oath as members of the military, peace officers, firefighters and other positions of trust -- our oath is one we each take very seriously.

We administer the Oath for Patriots who have not served in these types of positions, yet who believe in our principles and want to join our ranks. By taking the Oath, we agree to support all aspects of the Constitution, which includes many provisions in addition to the Bill of Rights. Above all and regardless of our personal likes or dislikes, we must and will support the government of the United States.

In that regard, we are not (nor will we ever be) a paramilitary group that engages in proactive armed aggression against our government. Should law and order collapse either in the short-term from a localized significant event, or permanently from a national crisis, we stand prepared to keep our families, Sentinel brothers and sisters, communities, states and country safe and secure. We develop and hone our preparation skills through training and practice. Collectively, we form a broad network of highly skilled and committed patriots who love their country and believe in the principles of liberty and justice that made it great. We watch over it and stand ready to defend it -- we are the Sentinels of Liberty.
